I would DEFINITELY go with the PIAA's over those other cheezo's... I've had very bad experiences with going the cheaper route on fogs.

Just my .02

I appreciate your input KiLo. I figured since they both use the H3 bulb, and being from Summit... 140 bucks is a pretty big difference. Oh well, I'll make a decision in the next day or so...

Looks like the PIAA 1100's can be had on ebay for 180 bucks, and with free shipping:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33709

and while Summit Racing doesn't carry them, they have something quite comparable, and much less ($40):

Very tempting...
Right on, Tony. There are two new slots for the extra brackets. I've taken a look around for similar lamps and trust me, the less you pay, the cheaper they appear...like they should be on beater Escorts instead LOL. PIAA's 1100 are very nicely done with the proper shape that compliments the Mini's roundness.

Temporary HAI is here Fits beautifully and doesn't touch anything except the TB. Looks elegant in it's simplicity.

I'm contemplating routing the second solenoid to act as a two stage N2O system. If I route both solenoids to two separate blue nozzles (.025) to equal one black (.05), I'll be able to ramp up the power increase or simply have a "sane" mode for everyday use

SID,

Very nice man . Sorry I have been away for so long. Seeing what you have done is giving me the itch again. I need to talk to your more often to keep me from making any rash decisions like selling the MINI .
What was I thinking!!!!

I love the way it looks...however, we're in a middle of a two day snow storm Two months in the garage...I'm sure the tires are going to go..."thump" "thump" "thump" "thump" "thump" "thump" "thump" down the first few miles when I do leave the house

Big Brake Kit Parts Copying

My plan is to make some adapters to fit a big brake kit. Does anyone have current adapters to go from the MINI spindle to a standard 3.5-inch mount? Wilwood or similar......

Sure would save a lot of time and I could make a few sets up for others.

I'm not sure what you're asking but you remind me of something OT...I already have a decent set of slotted/drilled rotors. Why doesn't someone make multi-pistoned calipers for stock sized rotors? Some of us don't want the extra weight/expense of a complete BBK

Todd at TCE told me that there is not much demand, so he thinks, plus it wouldn't be easy or cheap given the e-brake... I would love to have not only some lighter calipers in the rear, but the quick pad changes also...

Specifically, I meant only upgraded front calipers. Surely, that's profitable? If not for performance needs, it would sure look a whole lot better than the lump of potato BMW (it is debossed with that) calls a caliper

I was hoping someone had a Wilwood or brembo BBK sitting in their garage that I could borrow the mounting brackets to have copied.

Not sure why I was thinking rears... You know, I'd contact Todd, or start a thread in that forum. It seems like a reasonable request, but maybe with a just a bit more $, an improved rotor can be had as well. I don't know...

I got my front WW race kit (11.75") for like 900 bucks. They fit my 16's, and allowed me to drop 11 pounds, 3 of that rotating mass (the rotors). Improved acceleration, and braking .

Thanks CooperSdriver

HA! The M7 OCC has arrived! Sweeeeet!...I'm tempted to keep it as a center piece on my dining table for a while This thing looks bomb proof and the quality is top notch. I need to talk to Peter about making M7 home fixtures too...they're that good. Ok...off to the laboratory

Install pics will follow Thanks Peter for the swift delivery and another great product

I got mine also just recently! I was happy to see that the hose was quite hefty; the other hoses I've seen appeared somewhat flimsy...

I have the PIAA 1100s and that Hornet dear alert device coming early next week . Where do you plan to mount the OCC?

Well...according to Peter's instructions, it mounts next to the anti-lock module. All the parts for mounting it there are included but it would be a shame to just show off the top of this well crafted part. I like to find a more "presentable" spot (like where I currently have the Alta OCC). This will depend on whether I'm able to fabricate a mounting fixture that is up to the polish of M7's product...unlikely, with my current collection of rocks

How about you, Tony?

Well, I was first thinking about the stock intake box location. I believe you have your PA and Venom there... However, given that I'm in CA, and that my stock box might need to go back in for the visual inspection, I might not do that location. But then if the M7 AGS is CARB Certified

If so, I'll need to wait until the AGS arrives. Look forward to seeing where you mount yours...

A little flat red to bring out the diverter.

HEy what are those little silver props by your front air dam? Are those adjustment screws or something?

I'm going to put a new wiring harness in a 1961 VW Beetle Convertible, and finish the roof mounted light bar for the Mini.

Ok...where was I? Oh yeah...I've been persisting with my rocks and managed to saw/file/drill/carve out a new bracket to "present" this beautiful work of art in the proper position where no one can miss it

Who can tell me what's the difference between the top image and the bottom image?
