From what I have read about the APexi, you need to splice into the T-MAP Sensor and alter that signal so that you can control the signal going to the ECU. Altering this signal, will alter the ammount of air that the ECU thinks is going into the engine, thus effecting the ammount of fuel that it is going to put into the engine.

I have not got one running yet, but plan to work on it. I have a S-AFC version 1 coming, but thinking of changing to the S-AFCII because it has the ability to monitor Knock....

I have the pin-out of the ECU, so I'm going to work on the wiring configuration becuase they both get wired in a similar way. The hard part is the tuning that you will most likely want to do on a dyno for the best results... though I have heard of people doing it on the street. Not the most optimal way...

Yep im the Same Mugami.. thanks for the warm welcome TonyB. BTW yes i do have the SAFC 2 up and running on my MINI.

Hubie from SPI did inform me not to tell anyone of the wiring until after the NOV SEMA show and ive done just that. From the other posting i can see why hes been hesitant. Simply due to the fact. its untested and can cause Major engine damage if done incorrectly. Which wont be covered under any warrenty. I've sent Pilo a PM. If he wants to test it and release the info thats fine with me. I just dont want to be the one they gave the info to someone who installs it. Blows up there MINI (due to mis-programming) then blames me for giving the information.

Until we meet on the road
Have fun, Be safe and Keep MOTOV8N

The Apexi is intalled, and is working. Will be dyno tuning and testing for a bit before I release a how to. Want to verify every thing before data is released. It was a very involved install, and is not a basic mod

Here is my mounting location!

It is not 100% visable while driving, but it is not meant to be used while driving... so I am fine with this mounting location.. I am just runnig out of space to mount guages, and electronics. It also just fits with my Avic-N1 screen up

For me im getting the 210 JCW upgrade kit injectors this week with cpu reflash. which will be sent to Franz. Then its off to the Dyno in Feburary for me and final adjustments on High throttle setting using there Wideband O2 sensor equipment. I will adj the low throttle via narrow band O2 and an Autometer or Venom A/F gauge installed.

Oh now you tell me that you may be suppling injectors. I went the way i did because of price. But how you normally break the low price records i might not have gone the best way
