Description: Enjoy the raw, unfettered sounds of the intake/turbo with the Dinan Intake Resonator Delete Pipe! The direct replacement upgrade eliminates the sound deadening element of the factory pipe resulting in the natural voice of the intake/turbo to be noticeably restored. While impressive on its own, coupled with a Dinan intake (where applicable) the full uninhibited chorus of the entire system is put on full display for everyone’s enjoyment.
Beyond sound suppression the OEM intake resonator also hinders flow with its disruptive multi-directional flow path. This obstructive factory component is instead replaced by 76mm diameter, durable, lightweight, smooth-bore aluminum piping that not only improves flow but minimizes pressure drop for improved turbo efficiency. The black powder coated piping incorporates TIG welded fittings that guarantee seamless fitment with the factory connections in and a nearly concealed aesthetic within the engine bay. Whether or not you are running completely stock or with a variety of 3rd party modifications the Dinan assembly will fit right in. Short of the tempered, outlined, DINAN logo peeking out from just underneath the cowling you will be hard pressed to even realize it’s there – that is, until you hear it.
Features/Benefits:
- Eliminates factory intake resonator to restore natural unfiltered intake/turbo sounds
- 76mm diameter smooth-bore aluminum piping for improved airflow
- Upgraded durability and visual appeal via billet aluminum construction w/ TIG welding
- Direct replacement of OEM pipe
- Bolt-On Installation
- Perfect complementary piece to a Dinan intake for maximum sound and flow

All Dinan dealers (overseas included) have access to ordering/stocking the pipe. That said, European dealers are relatively scarce depending on locale so in a lot of cases it will likely be easier to order from an etailer that carries the line and ships internationally.

At this price they should sell very well, they are way below the Forge unit. The Forge unit comes with a rubber flex connector to the air box where this uses the factory part.
I installed the Forge pipe years ago when they were the only one piece option and very happy with it, hopefully Dinan knocks it out of the park with this.

And as a result, it comes loose from the air duct.

This may be a dumb question, but -
I've been looking at other pipe retrofits, mostly so as to get rid of the intake resonator, but also for a possible tiny increase in throttle response. (I will probably be adding an Eventuri air system once they are made for my 2024 JCW) Other pipes I've seen (Racing Dynamics, etc) all come as a set, with both charge and boost pipes. Two or Three pipes total.
One of them look identical, going from the air filter to, well I dunno where it goes. I assume the turbo.
So, Is this completely different pipe, and just coincidentally looks the same? Or is it actually the charge pipe?
If it's the charge pipe, then:
How much of a performance difference might it make to only change this one pipe with the Dinan, and leaving the rest stock?
(Assuming an Eventuri delux intake, and some kind of chip or ECU tune.)

### Also a question for Dinan Engineering:
In the OP, it says this fits: " 2015-2024 MINI F55/F56/F57 Cooper JCW (& JCW Classic) "
But on the Dinan website, for the same part number, it says only 2020 - 2023.
I know a few small things changed in 2024, like the MAP sensor. Can you confirm 100% that this will fit a 2024 JCW F57?

But yes, D760-0064 would fit the 2024 Cooper JCW (F57) -- same part number as previous years (13717619268).

There are 2 different back tubes which is causing your year range issue. D760-0064 fits the 2015-2024 'S' Models as well as the Cooper JCW in those years. D760-0067 is for the 2020-2023 Countryman and Clubman JCW's (306 HP models) but NOT the Cooper JCW.

Never been test fit on the base cars but the factory OEM backpipe is the same P/N so it's likely it would work.

They have the D760-0067 version for the B48 engine.
Will this intake fit on my Mini JCW hardtop 2 door(2022)?
My engine code is the B48A20B.

Two things to note.
1. The turbo inlet is hilariously small compared to the actual intake piping
2. The stock "resonator" pipe is completely hollow just like these aftermarket ones
At this point I believe this is a complete gimmick product but I'm happy to be pleasantly surprised if it does anything.
UPDATE: I assume the ECU has to adjust to the hard pipe. It seems to be doing what it's supposed to which is make more intake boost noise and also there seems to be less of a "turbo load" meaning that when you floor it, the turbo seems to spool more efficiently.
