djdport66: Yes it does! No problem and a positive HP gain as well! Let me know if I can help further.

edulbdie: No significant difference other than color, minor air box changes, filter change and the lack of warranty would be it. Thanks for asking!

Thanks again folks!

Cold Air Intake Version 2.0

Just installed CAI Version 2.0 ( AMP-INT-200). Closing the hood causes an interferance problem with the hood on the 2006 manual trans. I did not use
an Air Box Top. What do I do ? Cut the supplied 3 forward side trim seal
or the hood insulation or both? How much/ how far ?

Thanks Bill

Per our discussion I reviewed the lower box mounting and all was in order.
The hood insulation showed the indentation of the Alta Box. I removed the Alta three sided insulation strip ,which allows the hood to close without problem. I believe the top edge of the box seals against the hood but as yet haven't figured out how to prove it ,

Thanks for your prompt help.

Bill

I'm considering going to my first MOTD, and noticed that you're one of the listed registered vendors. Are you going to be doing on-site pulley installations? If so, what's the cost of install if I buy pulley from you?

Feel free to PM me.

Mr. Alta,

I have the dreaded mushrooming of the strut towers. I want to install the M7 strut brace because the way it is designed it flattens the strut towers and reinforces it plus the benefit of a strut brace. The thing is how would it interfere with your CAI I have installed in my car sense it would go over the top of it? Would I have to get your "box top" to reseal it? I love your CAI and I am not going to get rid of it! Worse case scenario is I will just get the strut reinforcement plates. Thank you.

trackertracker: Thanks for the photos. Interesting look! Any gains?

tavis1: The M7 brace will work with our air box, but you may need to relieve a bit of metal underneath the strut brace to clear the air box. Some clients will upgrade to the air box top at the same time to clean up the installation. Let us know how we can help further! Thanks again!

See everyone at AMVIV!

I have not done any temperature measurements. The car isn't broken in yet,
Since the ambient temp/speed would change so much , I don't think that I could have gotten a apples to apples comparision. I am just going on-----it
seemed to be a good idea at the time and most of the Daytona Rolex cars
used the stuff ( thier R&D budget isonly slightly larger than mine )
