Well I bought the IC boots and an intake tube and each of these items had poor fitment. The intake tube was far to big at the throttle body and the IC boots also had issues; way too small on the right side and too large on the right. Fluke with the products or poor quality control?
Did you buy these new from us or a retailer?
Please reply to me at Adam.Taft@ALTAPerformance.com include all your details and daytime contact information. Once we have that info, we can go from there.
Thanks again!

Couple reasons but mostly that clients really should look to replace the crank pulley as well as the S/C.
By changing the S/C to a 15% Reduction, then adding a 2% Crank Pulley you get the same 17% reduction, get improved belt wrap (surface of the belt touching the pulleys), reduce the weight on the rotating assembly and prevent the catastrophic failures of the OEM Crank Pulley.
Hope that helps! Let me know if I can help further!

I was under the impression that replacing the OEM crank pulley with its vibration damper was a bad thing...
...more specifically this was discussed by BMW/MINI tuning company, Dinan:

This isn't used as a balancer. Removing a balancer would be a bad thing and again that isn't the case here.
The OEM pulley is frequently out of balance (especially vs our CNC'd part) and it will come apart. When it does it tends to create a ton of additional damage to the tensioner, belt, leaves you stranded, etc. History is no showing this isn't an if its just a matter of when.
The ALTA Crank Pulley solves those concerns and makes more power!
Hope that helps a bit! Thanks again!

Thank you for the explanation. I have never owned a car that people weren't concerned about the light weight pulleys. Always have people said not to do it and thus me being nervous to add one. I'll have to do more reading. I loved my 17% V2 on my old MINI and didn't want to go with another...

Thanks for asking! Never going to rule that possibility out, but even if it DID, we would still recommend the 15% S/C and the 2% Crank for overall best performance and longevity.
Have a GREAT balance to your weekend!

Hi Adam,
I bought and installed an Alta stealth dual tip exhaust on my r53 2 years ago. Today I brought it into a shop to get it checked out because my exhaust seemed to be hanging very low. Apparently I'm missing the whole hanger in the middle (by the heat shield) and the whole exhaust system is only hanging on by one screw in the bracket at the rear passenger side. Do you guys sell these mounting hardware? Brackets and/or hangers to properly put the exhaust system into place?
Thanks!

That would help a ton on getting you the right parts quoted for you right away.
Thanks again and I look forward to your e-mail!

Thanks for the purchase and for asking!
The MAP sensor may be disconnected, or simply bad as you mention. Otherwise that combination won't produce any CEL's.
Check those out and let us know how we can help further!

No one here talked anyone out of purchasing your car. The fact that you would make it a public issue, seems odd at minimum.
However even though your approach is unprofessional I have sent you a PM with some details.
