Huh? I don't get it. What is that thing, a big mud flap? Seems like it would scrape going into parking lots and such.

Does it create a vortex to keep some of the crap off the back end? Looks sweet!!
Where'dya get it? And what was the damage (cost)? Is your MINI mint green? Questions, questions.

>>SMG: I really like this photo location.

I thought the same thing! I don't know which I like more - the lighting or the floor!

If you tell us this is your garage, I will be SOOOOO jealous!

Dig the wheels, diffuser and garage!! When you answer let us know what size for the wheels as well, if you would.

Jeff in ATL (flippin' 10 degrees last night??!)

I love the wheels and the garage but I really don't like the diffuser. the MINI isn't supposed to be a rice rocket where you just keep on attatching new things hanging off everywhere.

The wheels and diffuser are from HAMANN(i'm pretty sure on this). http://www.hamann-motorsport.de/homee.htm

You can buy these through bavarian auto http://www.bavauto.com/

The wheels and diffuser are very expensive though. The diffuser costs 499.95 through bavauto and the wheels are 399 a wheel for 17x8 and 849 a wheel for 18x8. They look great, but they are expensive and fairly heavy...25ish lbs if i remember correctly.

this is the only add-on spolier that i think fits the MCS perfectly and the real thing looks much meaner than the pics.

Davbret & sirron : won't scratch....it's height adjustable.....hehe...and my car's color is dark silver.

Dave & mini2go : it's not my garage :???:

Storer & Koolmini & friedduck : Hamann 17x8 HM4 wheels w/ 215/45/17 R compound tires.

itsdirtybird : agreed.....i'll stop adding starting from now...

damatta : yeah they're heavy......

thechandler81 & nfo : tks guys.....

mike.

I love the look of the Hamann diffuser. But jeepers $499? Really expensive for such a small addition. That's more than a whole MCS rear apron (complete with fake mesh stickers).

Looks great though.

DVLMINI - You'll love it after putting it onto your chile red mini and it's not SMALL at all.......the rear now looks very low & wide and a DTM exhaust tip is what it's missing........

Grinder, it doesn't do much but to make the rear of our MCS more aggressive.....and most important of all it matches my wheels..

i think it also acts as a "wing" sort of mod to stabilize the car while you're on motorway, as i thought the stock MCS wing looks great too but i doubt it can increase any downforce when crusing.....

hey smg, what do you think about the schnitzer stuff?
it seems like you're really into the hamann products,
i'd like an objective opinion! thanks!

nfo, i think AC makes the nicest kit for the E46 M3s.......less exaggerating than the hamanns........but after looking at the AC mini(s), i think i like hamann better as the AC one is a bit too cute for the already cute mini......just my opinions.

Mabye you you should also look at hartge ..... their 18" wheels are very nice too but you can't order them till late march.

never seen that on a mini before but it should look ok with dark silver i guess.

my silver rims look abit like gunmetal if i don't clean them regularly........lotsa brake pad powder over my rims.

my friend once said to me " you've got some nice gunmetal hamann wheels" and i said to him "they're silver for god's sake"...........sigh......
