[quote=checkers;1697145]I got the intercooler from MINI Mania, but they do not carry it anymore.
As far as low end power it is a little stronger, but real dosen't kit in until around 3000 rpms.
I'm not sure if or how much timing is pulled but thats what the adjustable cam pulley comes in. I'm looking into reflashing the ECU and try to take care of the timing.[ /quote]

We know the tq has to be way off and we are not to sure about the hp either. They had to use a third strap and anchor it to the left to allow for the torque. We do know it pulls real hard from about 3000 to around 7000 rpms. It real whats to move to the right when you get on it hard. But it's a lot of fun.

How do you get any traction without a LSD?

so whoever did the dyno couldnt keep a >300 foot lb tq car on the dyno? that makes NO sense to me. I have personally dyno'd a 600 WHP and 550 LBS TQ mustang cobra with little to no slip at all. (car before my mini )

And I have been witness to a 900HP drag truck tuning on a dyno with no problems either. (seen WAY more then just these, but they poped into mind ) why is it a mini, with all that power cant stay on the rollers?

what kind of a dyno was it? and who, if you are willing to say, did the dyno? just doesnt make sense to me. here is a short clip of our local dyno with a 563 WHP supra doing a pull: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...ideoID=1111348

Was either the Mustang or the truck front wheel drive? I real can't answer your question, but it's on a dynojet type dyno. When you hit it hard the car just lifts and torques hard to the right. It move about a foot to the right. If your driving down the street you have to steer a little left to compensate for the torque. I'm sure the car does not have as much TQ as the read out showed but it has more than it did.
