Dinan Intake Install How To

I'm purchasing a used Dinan intake, and it does not come with directions. Can anyone e-mail me a scan of it, or post some general directions here? Thanks very much in advance!

Matt

PS - I called Dinan and they said they'd look into it, but it didn't sound like they wanted to help me.

No worries... I called Dinan before and wanted some instructions for the software upgrade and the pulley upgrade.. Yah.. my dealer did those 2, so I never saw the instructions.. They were like we just can give instructions, they come with the part...

I was thinking about going for either the M7 CAI or the Dinan. How do you guys like the Dinan CAI? Did you find a pretty big difference in performance/sound. I like the look of the Dinan the best but am not too pumped about cutting up my car. I always like to have to option to return back to stock.

I enjoy the sound of the supercharger after the upgrade. You won't be disappointed.

It's my understanding Dinan won't honor the warranty if it isn't installed in one of their shops. May or may not matter...

Thanks! I think I'm going to have to go for the M7 DDM after all. I really enjoy working on my MINI and would prefer to do the work myself. The M7 DDM is a little louder but it still looks pretty shnazzy. I've also hear M7 makes very high quality products which is all I want to put on my car. Thanks for the replies!

i'm sure you'll be happy with either one. i have the dinan and think it sounds great. not irritating loud...just right. if you are going the all M7 route, i'd go with the M7 intake
