Aftermarket rad Hose Kits

I just got a Samco rad hose kit today. Just wondering something. I was looking and found Alta actually sells a rad hose kit, too. Anyone running it?

My Samco comes with 4 hoses, Alta has 5. Also a few hoses look a little different. No big deal...just curious. I 'm sure I will figure it out next week.

Thanks

Seann

I have SS sold by MiniMania. If the set you got is silicone, you CANNOT use the OEM clips. They are one-time use only. Besides, the silicone will be thicker. You need the regular set of clamps used on most cars

Actually, you should not use regular automotive "worm" clamps. You should use a "lined" clamp that won't cut into the hose.

Thanks! Pegasus is Great! As an SCCA member, I get their paper catalog a couple times a year.
I'm going to use the threaded tube ends to make my own anti-roll bar links.

I have the Samco hoses (ordered 5-6 months ago) which I haven't got to fix on my car. Project cars take up alot of time and dough.

Sorry, can't help you there, but I remember having many hoses in the bag.
Could you be missing one? Don't take my word for it.
