Would I gain any hp from installing a header with the stock exhaust?

Sounds pretty definite to me. I have no clue, personally, and this thread hasn't really helped.

It absolutely depends on where the restrictions are. If there are serious restrictions after the header, even though you make gains by increasing the scavenging capability through the header, you may not see the full benefit due to the remaining restriction of the stock cat-back system. You will stil make gains, but the full potential will not be realized.

We won't know what the full potential is until I do that particular set-up and what that means is goping back to stock, doing a baseline run, then putting on just the header and doing a comparison of the Magnaflow set-up, the stock set-up and the header only set-up.

Hope that helps!

Randy
