Factory service kit includes the following MINI factory replacement items:

• Engine Air Filter
• Engine Oil Filter
• Cabin Filter Charcoal type
• Spark Plugs (4 each)

All you need to add is engine oil to this list and you are all set to tune up your Mini!

Although MINI recommends spark plug replacement at 100,000 mile interval, we recommend you change sooner. (MINI recommends JCW plugs to be replaced every 30,000 miles). If you notice your mpg starting to drop, or maybe your Mini does not idle as smoothly as before, this basic maintenance is the first thing you should perform to establish a solid baseline.
