E-Mini Mini Cooper SE Discounts?
#2
My experience is that most dealers do not discount the SE ... in fact, most do not discount any of their cars beyond what is advertised online at miniusa.com. MINI has actually been working to bring down the prices by offering special editions (e.g., Oxford Edition).
Also, they are moving toward relying on special orders rather than keeping a large inventory. By doing so, they are hoping to control costs and lower the MSRP.

$1,000 is a rare discount on this great car. If you're buying a model that was supposed to have the harman/kardon sound system, you'll get another $850 (I believe) off the price because MINI can't provide the h/k sound system at this point. I don't believe they're offering rebates for SEs that are missing the "standard" rear parking sensors (MINI is evidently saving them for the trims that come with parking assist). This chip shortage is a real bummer.
