You go...Oh look there's an Ocifer shooting at me with a laser gun...I'd better make sure he gets a good reading and turn off my Laser Park Pro as to not interfere with Da Law...

wow. so its quite simple to make it look like a mistake on their part then? I am also assuming its quite easy to use LPP and reprogram the settings. Also, is the single head purchase sufficient if you are on a budget? Again thank you for answering all of my "noobie" questions! I appreciate it.

you mean the radar cruise? we have it on our FX35.
as for functionality, that's the reason for trying it. want to see if the loss of some features is worth the easier install. as you know, there's not much space to work under the hood of the MINI. I need to do some searches to find the best place to punch through the firewall for a normal hardwired install. Also, using a MINI switch in the toggle bank instead of the included one will mean a stealthy install as well. :P

FYI
California Law CLEARLY states that if a device is CAPABLE of jamming laser guns it's considered illegal. It's also worth mentioning the law includes a stipulation to those selling these devices, and says that you are guilty of a misdemeanor should you posess more than 4 units.

There are also several other states with laws on the books, but none appear to have the wording "Capable of", they only seem to cover units directly designed for jamming or scrambling. In the state of CA at least, if you have one of these (Including devices with PDC that "Happen" to jam laser), you will find yourself getting a rather large ticket. Since the law doesn't really say whether it'd be considered a moving violation or not, I'm not sure how it would work with regards to insurance. I'm sure your insurance company would love to raise your insurance though if they found out that you speed so frequently that you need to install a laser jammer on your primary vehicle.
