Green 'plug' of BCM

I'm in the final stages of my stock rally light install on my '06 MCS and I can't figure out how to get the green 'plug' disconnected from the BCM in the passenger footwell so I can tap into the green wire.

What steps are necessary to get the backside of the plug out into the daylight so I can work with it?

Thanks in advance.

Okay...after messing with it some more I figured it out. Slide the green three-sided cover towards the rear of the car. You might have to tug pretty hard to get it slide far enough back. And then pull down on the plug.
