Electrical LED parking lights

100 ohm should do it. Many vendors of LEDs also sell plug-and-play load resistors prepackaged with heat sinks and splice connectors, such as: http://superlumination.com/equalizers.htm
The parking lights use 194 bulbs (also known as W5W or other designations), so look for LED bulbs that are compatible with 194. Some of the 194 LED designs are larger than standard 194 bulbs and may be too wide to fit through the reflector opening. Also, most aftermarket LED bulbs don't have built-in voltage regulators and could burn out prematurely from over-voltage/current from the alternator. This is a particular risk for constant on lights like the parking lights (as opposed to turn signals).

I've been through a LOT of different LED parking lights in my R52... I finally gave up and went with superwhite incandescent bulbs, which I like MUCH better and they seem to have no downside... they match my Xenons perfectly... all the LED bulbs I tried either didn't have the right dispersion pattern, or the right color, or didn't last very long... while YMMV, I strongly recommend to all my friends that they learn from my wasted $$$ and time, and skip the LED parking lights, even though they sound like a good idea.

hi guys,
I'm very interested in this as well as I just wanted something that match our stock xenon. I've done some research and I've created a thread before:

Unfortunately, I couldn't get enough confirmation if anyone tried since these PIAA are pricey although looking at that japanese sites, it seems to work?
Hope this help
