DashDyno drawing down battery when car is off

I just picked up a DashDyno last week and installed it on Saturday. We went on a long run on Sunday and parked the MINI Sunday afternoon. I got in the MINI this morning (Wednesday) and the battery was dead (junpstarted OK). I have been trying to see if the DashDyno is drawing power off of the OBDII port when the car is shut down and have found nothing (I sent an email to support at DashDyno as well). I did find a post at a Mazda forum about the DashHawk<-- drawing 60mA via the OBDII port when off, about 4x the normal-off drain of 15mA for a MazdaSpeed3. Anyone have any insight into this problem?

why DashDyno? have you seen the new app for the ipod/iphone Dynolicious? it cost $12.99 and works better, and you get to own an amazing ipod or iphone too. check it out here:

Wow, that is totally cool. I had to look up the iPod Touch ... had no clue it existed. The software, which I also had no idea existed, looks great, too.

I wanted an OBDII scan tool as well as the dyno stuff but it would have been nice to have another reason to upgrade my cell phone AND get some dyno data at the same time...

Auterra replied to my email regarding the car-off current draw of the DashDyno by asking if the device went into sleep mode after the MINI was shut off (it does after 50 seconds). Now waiting for the next reply from them...
