can someone HELP ASAP?

so i never experienced this problem... so its a hot day and went for a drive... got home and turned off the car and noticed my fan was still on... normal i take it to cool down the egine... but after 10 minutes or so... my alarm goes craze and my key does not seem to turn it off.... then the alarm turns off on its own and a minute later it does it again... after 3 or 4 times like that it shuts off completely and now my car is dead.... now the question is... is my battery completly dead? can the fan cause the battery to die? PLEASE HELP...

note: i never had to change the battery since i baught the car brand new in 2002

Your battery is most likely toast and probably won't hold a charge very well due to it's age(and being completely drained so your best bet is to purchase a new one otherwise this could be a repeat performance.

unless you are under warranty, take it to an auto parts place, let them test it to see if it will hold charge. and while the fan did not kill your battery, it is likely the straw the broke the camels back. I am assuming your alarm sounded because it detected the lack of battery power. (makes the alarm think someone cut the power to disable the siren)

im looking for mine to die anytime..it has been 5 years now.
