Electrical AM radio and shorty antenna?

AM radio and shorty antenna?

anyone noticed a lack of signal quality?

I bought the polished/black antenna kit (100-580) from Moss MINI a couple of months ago and used the middle length shaft. I do not listen to AM, but I did notice the "stereo" effect going in-and-out when I listen to FM stations. Guess I should have done more research on their reception quality. The stock antenna is probably the best one, as it is tuned properly for reception.

I don't really listen to the radio much anymore. I'm usually listening to my MP3 CD changer or the satellite radio.
