Keyless entry

A while back my wifes 04MC's battery died (lights left on). After getting it started, her keyless entry did not work, and still doesnt. Any suggestions on how to get it going again? Wed like to avoid going to the dealer if possible

when my battery died my remotes stopped working as well. when i brought it to the dealer, they thought it was the BC module, but it turned out that my keys had to be reprogrammed. but since my keys didn't have the codes, i had to purchase new keys.

We only have one key for her car . Unfortunately only way to unlock it is through the door... And the inter. switches.
My 03S on the other has its own issues with the acuator on drivers side...
