OBD gauge choices

We know about the ScanGauge II

Any comments on:
UltraGauge Nexzor
Edge Juice
DashDaq
DiabloSport
WatchDog 40400
DashDyno SPD
AeroForce

I am really looking for a battery voltmeter and coolant temp, but boost and a few other parameters may be useful. Prices run from $70 to $600. All say "ODBII compliant" but then list a very limited set of makes. I know BMW is not very compliant. I have sent e-mails to most, but no responses yet.

I could just put in conventional small diameter gauges, but all this ODB info is so tempting!

Don't forget the ipod touch/iphone running wireless via bluetooth OBD. I think that's a pretty good setup. Although, I was reading OBD info on my palm (wired) 10 years ago as well as running other "apps"

There's also the Garmin Ecoroute HD.

Diablo responded. Not a generic OBD system, application unique.

Also, the PLX gauge that I have really fits into the MINI dash perfectly.

The Aeroforce gauge is pretty nice and will provide what you are looking for (battery and coolant temp). I believe they are working on some options (like scangauge) that are specific for our MINI's. So if you are looking for a pod-like gauge, then I would recommend this one and is around the same price point as the Scangauge II.

This one is nice, but is a bit pricey...

Aeroforce's website seems to indicate they are about $90 more than a Scangauge. But no listing for a Mini Cooper.

EDIT: Just to update this. Contacted them and they have a lower price than their website indicates for Mini owners since it's not a car on their "official" list. Fairly close to a Scangauge price!

Strobe'
where did you mount your gauge? In the plastic trim behind the tach pod or on one of those cantilever rigs?

I got the Ultra-gauge. It's pretty cool and displays 49 different gauge options. The important ones it doesn't do is Oil temp, Oil Pressure, and Boost (it does MAP which is 14.7psi above 0psi and doesn't show negative reading when it goes into vacuum).

I have mine set up to show Coolant temp, Intake Air temp, Battery voltage, and MAP. You can display 6 reading on one page, but that's all I'm really interested in (would have had oil temp and pressure it it could).

Edit: It would appear that it drains the battery a bit when "off" as I have had my comfort access not work after leaving the car overnight and when I start the car, the time needs to be set again. I have disconnected it and will see if all as back to normal in the morning. If it is the Ultra-gauge causing a problem I might have to return it, as I don't really want to have to unplug it everyday.
