Nology Hotwires

Lately my 03S has been getting worse and worse with misfires. I finally switched my wires back to the oem plug wires, with 100% improvement. Ive been using the hotwires for about 2yrs now, so theyre not that old. Ive heard of a possible dielectric breakdown of the insulation with these. Anyone else have this problem? Any idea of the supposed life with these? Kind of an expensive price for just 2yrs worth of use

Plug wires, like spark plugs, do wear out.
2 years on a set of wires is pretty good.
There are many brands of wires available that are cheaper than Nology and have just as good of performance.
Take a look at Magnacor.

I changed to the hotwires (and plugs) around 70k, with no real noticeable difference, this was the 1st change out for the wires, cant say ive ever changed my wires on any of my vehicles every 2yrs, not saying this is good or bad, just saying. At over $150 for a set of wires, i would think they would last a little longer especially since there was no noticeable change in performance.

I have the Nology wires on my 04 MCS for over 6 years (25K miles) with no problems. Obviously a Sept. 03 build 04 with only 25k miles doesn't get much use (my toy) but still 25K on the wires is not bad.

Nology wires aren't bad, but they are waaaaaaay over priced. There is NO Hp gain with them no matter what you read.
Stick with some more affordable wires and you'll be fine.
