Electrical Flucuating oil press gage

Flucuating oil press gage
About a year ago I mounted the factory matching gages - I forget the vendors name at the moment- (water temp and Oil press - electric not mechanical) in my 09 Clubbie S. Now the oil pressure is jumping around - may read as high as 90. Even with the motor off and just power to the gage it will read almost 15 lbs and waver between 0 and 20 at times. While I suspect the sending unit I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this and or if there are suggestions regarding testing the gage itself as well as the sending unit.
All thoughts welcomed.

dennis-
had the same problem with the oil pressure guage (marshall gauges). worked fine for about 30K miles, then started randomly moving all over the dial. ordered a new gauge and sending unit, first replaced the sending unit (there was a small leak there on the adapter) but what cured it was replacing the gauge itself. its been fine again now for about 10K miles. not a very long life expectancy...hope this one does better.
