Driver Window Malfunction

Hey so a few months ago my Driver window just STOPPED working and then about 3 weeks later it worked again (for about another 3 weeks). Soon after the window stopped working for about 2 months and then worked for about 1.5 months. The pattern has started up again as you can tell.

I still hear a "click" of "activation" when I hit the toggle switch but nothing happens! is that my motor is going out? the relay? I have NO CLUE!!!

Does anyone know have the answer to this? Can I solve this problem on my own without taking it to the dealership?

Thanks for your time!

If you hear the clicking, I am pretty sure that is coming from the FRM module so my gut feel is you have a motor, physical issue (jammed, lack of lube) or a wiring issue (short or chaffed wire, or a broken wire between the door and body).

Take the door panel off and inspect everything very closely! Then measure the voltages on the lines going into the window motor too see if it is getting the signal.

You could do that OR ball up your fist and give the door a whack above the lower speaker. May have to repeat a time or two. This is the "Fonzie" method. Good luck ---
