What "PANIC" mode are you talking about.

Use of the remote buttons to force the alarm to go off?

Some other locking mechanism?

Not sure what you mean with your limited question.

Yes im talking about the mode that forces the alarm to go off by pressing the boot opening button. in my car this option does not work and i assume that needs some coding to enable it. I have searched trought various modules but i simply do not know what is the option name and in which module it is.

Next question is

Do you have the alarm installed? It is not standard equipment.

If it is installed when you lock the car does the top of the Tach blink?

If the top of the tach is blinking and holding the PANIC (hatch release button) for more than 2 seconds does not activate the horn then you will need to take it to the dealer to have it checked. There is NO user adjustable settings for the alarm system such as Panic on/off.

If the top of the Tach is not blinking then either the alarm is not functioning or is not installed.
