High Beams and fog lights at same time

Is it possible to have the High Beams and the front fog lights on at the same time? Perhaps coding in NCS Expert?
I have seen on other BMW boards the following value on LCM module, but not sure if it is the same on R56:
FL_UND_NSW_NICHT_GLEICHZ - front fog lights not simultaneously with high beams
aktiv
I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S.

What for?

Increasing the foreground light makes it more difficult to see further.

Sorry, not an NCS expert but I'm sure there must be some way to do it by merely making a few wire splices. I presume you're running oem fogs and driving lights. All you need to do is convince your fogs to stay on anytime the switch is on and the parking lights are on (vs low beams).

Yes, you set BOTH:
FL_UND_NSW_NICHT_GLEICHZ
LH_UND_NSW_NICHT_GLEICHZ

to aktiv.

One code is for flashing your highs and the other is for driving with your highs.

Apparently I need to set these to nicht_aktiv. I was checking and I had them aktiv already in FRM module.

I think you're right. I was just saying aktiv because you had already said it.

I was thinkng the same thing.

If you are not going to use them as fog lights then they might help a little as high-beam helpers.

Just for argument's sake, and any googlers that hit this thread:
NICHT GLEICH is NOT EQUAL, so a double negative is a positive.

Go figure.

This is a sensitive topic, how dare someone want to use high beams and fog lights, how about high beams, driving lights and fogs ALL at the same time? I like as much light as possible when driving on a dark road. Just my opinion.

By the way, I have all of the above! It's pretty nice on dark roads. I choose to be responsible and not use thm with on coming traffic.
