One touch for windows
Hey guys,
I coded the car a while back with the one touch windows mod using NCSExpert
I followed this guide:
Enables one touch up and down of windows instead of holding to open or close on 2007+ models.
FH_MAUT_ZU_ACTIV_FAT
Enable one-touch windows on R56 modes (Co-driver)
FH_MAUT_ZU_ACTIV_BFT
I now have one touch down, but not one touch up. I was thinking it could be the pinch sensor needs to reset but perhaps I dont know how to perform that reset.
Thanks for the help
Edit: My car is a 2007 MCS Hatch

I did these methods as below:
and
10Zero
5th Gear
Just in case:
Insert the fob, hold both window toggles "down" at the same time until the windows are fully open.
Pop the fob out, then back in again, hold both toggles "up" until fully closed.
Pop the fob out, then back in again...you should have auto up/down again.

Just had to do this on my wife's new hardtop as the auto-up wasn't working by default.
The procedure is:
-close all doors <--important
-insert fob (no need to start)
-lower both windows simultaneously
-raise both windows simultaneously
-remove fob
Good luck...

Can't get the modification to work on my 2013 R57.
I inserted FOB until it clicked and DID NOT start the car (radio started to play). Made sure both doors were closed, lowered both front windows at the same time, raised both windows at same time, removed FOB and reinserted (waited 10 seconds) and no go. I've got auto down but not auto up.
I even tried doing just the lowering and removing FOB and reinserting FOB then raising. Still a no go.
Doe it not work on my model or am I just doing something wrong????
Thanks

wmsue, the convertibles do not have auto up because they do not have pinch protection. I have never understood why that is the case, but that is how it is. I'm not sure whether any of the 'vert owners figured out a way to code around that restriction - maybe one of them will see this thread and pop in.
