Electrical R53 headlights pointed down

there are 2 possible things you can do to fix this.
1) manually adjust them when they are on with a flat head screw driver, there are 2 plastic screws behind the headlight, 1 for up and down and 1 for left and right.
2) the sensor is located on the driverside control arm, make sure the plug is still in and that the bracket is not bent, mine got bent accidently when I did my Control arm bushings that I had to replace.
If you manually adjust them and they still dont adjust, i recommend unplugging the control sensor on the control arm, and just adjusting them again so they stay where they should be. The auto levelers on our cars suck in comparison to others. I plan on altering it to a manual switch to level them in the cab

My 1st gen R52 HID has done this. It popped out of its mount points inside it seems. Not sure I want to take it apart to fix this. If I do, I am guessing I will follow the Joey Mod directions for taking apart the headlight. Anyone have this happen to theirs and fixed it? Or has everyone just replaced the whole unit?
