R56 TPMS Disable/Removal with NCSExpert *IN PROGRESS*
This post is intended to be a complete walkthrough for disabling or removing TPMS functionality from your R56 Mini. The point of this is mainly to get rid of the damn yellow light on the dash when you are running aftermarket wheels with no TPMS sensors. This post is currently incomplete.
I have a 2010 MCS that is basically stock but I have made a few changes with NCSExpert previously. 1 touch sunroof, key fob window and sunroof control, disable seatbelt chime from what I remember. I thought TPMS would be no big deal, boy was I wrong.
What I have done so far:
1. Follow the instructions in the sticky "NCSExpert for beginners" in particular the two PDFs "Guide to Mini Cooper Coding I" & "Guide to Mini Cooper Coding II" until you verify you can connect to your car and read/write to it.
2. Use the v45 Datens from the above sticky instead of the included v38 or v41 datens.
3. Update your EDIABAS software to version 7.2.0 following Chernobyl's instructions here, you can find the software at this link, download and password are at the bottom of the thread. Make sure you re-copy the ECU files from your v45 Datens into the C:\EDIABAS folder.
4. To disable TPMS "Remove $2VB from VO (both CAS and FRM) and 'default' vehicle"
5. Change the vehicle order (VO) by removing $2VB following instructions in this PDF, except in Step 5 when it tells you to press F2 "Chassis" and then select your vehicle type in Step 6, don't do that. Instead, select "VIN/ZCS/FA" then "ZCS/FA f. ECU". This tells NCSExpert to attempt to read your VIN from your vehicle's ECU so you don't have to type it in.
6. Default the FRM and CAS modules. Instructions are linked in this thread but you have to sign up for an account. Basically you go into NCSExpert, let it read your VIN, choose a module and then change the job to "SG_CODIEREN", then click "Execute job". That module is now defaulted.
After doing all of this I still have a TPMS light on my speedo. One of the links says to default all of the modules in the car, I haven't tried that yet, just CAS and FRM. Another says to pull the TPMS fuse, according to my searching it is F17, haven't tried that yet either. I'm going to keep plugging at this until I get it, any help is appreciated if you've done this before or know something I don't. I will update this thread as I progress.

Any solution to this yet? I was poking around in NCS Expert and there were so many modules I had no idea where to start. After looking at a few, I did discover where druck control system was, but it was like setup for each signal or something.
The yellow light is annoying but at least it's not yelling (dinging) at me.
I am thinking about pulling fuse or battery for TPMS module just to see what happens if I can't do anything on the programming side.
Thanks
