Electrical HID Install question

Yeah they just have screws holding them in from the back. You can take that plate out and make into a bracket to hold the new projectors in, or make a new bracket. I really do recommend buying some of the mentioned halogen bulbs I suggested and see how you like them first before doing a projector swap first though

These are the projectors I use for my retrofits.
Due to the low price they are often sold out though

The factory Xenon lights do yes. But you won't be using any of the factory HID components. You will need to purchase aftermarket ballast and wire harness and new bulbs for the new projectors.
Basically you are unplugging the big connector from the factory housing and will not be re using any of the old stuff after that when using the Depo housings.

I'll be using https://www.ecstuning.com/b-helix-pa...ini01hl-b~hlx/ these housings, as I'm blacking the car out. I currently have xenon headlights with washers, thanks for the help sorry for the confusion also haha, I live in PA, about an hour from Philadelphia

My car currently still has the headlight washer tubes. I just unplugged them and tucked them up into the hood of the car. And of course the headlight washer fluid is empty so none of it leaks into the engine bay. I definitely like the way these headlights look better and to be honest i never even used the headlight washer function. Seems pointless to me lol

Awesome thanks! so when installing this new set up the ballast will still be on the outside of the headlight housing correct? thats one concern of mine is not having the headlight be entirely water tight. I would prefer not to risk drilling a hole in the back to allow the wires to feed through for a HID.

Okay, so I'm a bit confused at this moment. What style connector is used for the low beam (factory xenon) since you said we'll be using an H1 projector, obviously we'll be needing an H1 style HID kit. But what style is the connector the Hid kit will plug into?
I understand the high beam uses an H7 plug, but what does the low beam use? H1 style? Or are we completely swapping to a different plug style?

H7 is a halogen bulb size. If you have projectors that use h7 they are halogen projectors. Yes companies sell h7 HID bulbs but they are just re based cheap Chinese HID bulbs made to fit in the halogen projector.
An HID bulb puts out far more uv and will burn the lining out of a halogen projector eventually which will render the output abysmall.
HID bulbs are also drastically different shaped than halogen bulbs are.
A halogen projector is specifically designed to give an out put based on the shape and location of the halogen bulb in side it.
The HID sits deeper in and moves the focal point creating dead spots and unacceptable glare above the cut off point.
Before I did much research I had h7 HID system in my Depo lights. In less than a year the HID system burnt the chrome out of the projector.
I might as well have held the flashlight from my cell phone out the window while driving. It would have provided more light.
This drove me to do all this research and learn how to do all this myself.
You can buy pre made brackets, and everything made to just plug in but you will still have to take the halogen projector out and install the HID projector. All this pre made stuff can easily run you close to 400 bucks not counting the price of the depo housings as well.

I'm at work right now guys so I can answer questions real quick but don't have time to get links. But I will be off for the next 7 days and promise I will provide links to all the appropriate supplies and parts, I will try to provide the links into clusters of what would be a whole kit at different price points, the cheaper the price the more work required obviously.
