Hi, I have seen a number of posts for folks successfully programming their Xenon retrofit lights with NCS software. I am not super tech savvy, but I would offer to Venmo someone the $100 to walk me through step by step, instead of giving that money to the dealer. Let me know! I have a 2010 Clubman S.

Put that money towards the Bimmergeeks Protool app and their K+DCAN cable. You will be able to program your lights and you will have the ability to diagnose almost any issue before going to the dealership.

thanks! I will buy those things, but am really worried about screwing up the coding. Reading codes are a different story. I need hand holding!
If you get the app and the cable, shoot me a dm. I will walk you through it for free. Things like that shouldn't cost money lol.
Very cool, I can at least offer to buy your family dinner or something! I'll just now need to figure out how to DM...
Do you know, is that app only for Android devices?

It's only available on android at this time. In my opinion, it is worth picking up a cheap or used Android tablet or phone just for this tool.
Thanks! Got a drawer full of old ones, I'll try to get one to work!
One other question on the Bimmergeeks products. Do you know if both the Bluetooth adaptor and the K+DCAN cable are required, along with their app, or is it just one or the other?
Thanks!

I've only used the K+DCAN. I've had mixed experiences with K+DCAN that I have found on Amazon, but the Bimmergeeks cable has worked great. You should only need one or the other.
