Anyone want to help me program for my 25w Xenon retrofit lights?

Hi, I have seen a number of posts for folks successfully programming their Xenon retrofit lights with NCS software. I am not super tech savvy, but I would offer to Venmo someone the $100 to walk me through step by step, instead of giving that money to the dealer. Let me know! I have a 2010 Clubman S.

Put that money towards the Bimmergeeks Protool app and their K+DCAN cable. You will be able to program your lights and you will have the ability to diagnose almost any issue before going to the dealership.

thanks! I will buy those things, but am really worried about screwing up the coding. Reading codes are a different story. I need hand holding!

If you get the app and the cable, shoot me a dm. I will walk you through it for free. Things like that shouldn't cost money lol.

Very cool, I can at least offer to buy your family dinner or something! I'll just now need to figure out how to DM...
Do you know, is that app only for Android devices?

It's only available on android at this time. In my opinion, it is worth picking up a cheap or used Android tablet or phone just for this tool.

One other question on the Bimmergeeks products. Do you know if both the Bluetooth adaptor and the K+DCAN cable are required, along with their app, or is it just one or the other?
Thanks!

I've only used the K+DCAN. I've had mixed experiences with K+DCAN that I have found on Amazon, but the Bimmergeeks cable has worked great. You should only need one or the other.

Here is quick DIY for the Bimmergeeks Protool:

1. Tap "Vehicle"

2. Tap Vehicle Order.

3. Tap Edit
Note: You will be prompted to save a backup of the Vehicle Order.

4. Select Add-Ons.

5. Select X25W: RETROFIT 25W XENON HEADLIGHT NA 190572

6. Select Actions.

7. Select Save.
Note: You will be prompted to code modules that are related to the changes made as well as the CAS and FRM.

8. Return to the main menu.

9. Select Safety.

10. Select FRM.

11. Select Coding.
Note: you will be prompted to make a backup.

12. Select Standard.

13. Change the following:
a. Cold Check High Beams
b. Cold Check Low Beams
c. Left Lwr Error
d. Right Lwr Error
e. Hot Check Hight Beams
f. Hot Check Low Brams
g. Xenons Installed

14. Select Finalize.
Note: You will be prompted to cycle the ignition.

Curious if you have used BimmerLink/BimmerCode and how does BimmerGeeks Protool compare? More functions/coding or ease of use etc.

I have BimmerLink/Code and so far it has done 99% of what I wanted to do. The only thing I have done with NCS Expert is correct my speedo.
