I have a Link ECU in my R53, is there any reason I should keep the OEM ECU for any reason, seeing as it will never work with my modified engine. Is it worth selling?

I see ECUs for sale all the time so it's probably worth selling. Is it a pre- or post-facelift (better) version? It must be programmed to the VIN/key of the buyer's vehicle which is a costly expense at a dealer. Adrian Nastase on this forum can do it, however.
