Another Pulley Party with out me !!

Hope installs go well for everyone with no Abuzavi R&D or Smiley mods
But just in case be sure to bring an extra 220 plug, and a marker for proper labeling.

Glad I decided to log in here and get depressed I'll just go back to planning my vacation to Minis on the Dragon. Just wish there were some squiggles that I didn't need a vacation for.

Y'all have fun

Smiley

No, say it ain't so!!!!

Who's gonna be the "responsible party" in this whole deal? I mean, for those of us who prefer to delay any Abuzavi Performance mods? Or the ever so famous Flying Smiley trick?!?!? Guess I should go ahead and print those instructions off, then?

Ok, Abu, no pressure friend. None whatsoever. Just know that the hopes and dreams of the entire free world rest on your knowledge and skills!! So, where and when do we link up?

Cheers!!

I'll contact Henry tomorrow at work -- he said he would be there.

Shop opens at 0930. Shall we meet at 0900 then? At the commuter parking lot outside the gate -- 49°22'14.23"N 8°37'25.76"E

I was not able to get over to reserve bays -- bad, bad week. Will try tomorrow, but no promises.

abuzavi!
I'll be there Saturday with the puller and belt tensioner tool. I hope someone bring some instructions just in case. I did the last pulley installation last Nov 07. So don’t worry be happy. How many of you have navigation system? Daflake, I need your CMR for yours. I will be out of the office tomorrow all day. How many pulleys will be installed? For more than two pulleys I recommend two bays to prep 2 Mini's at the same time, because the most time consuming is the prep time. Henry

Just remember.. When there is a will, there is a way !!!
It shall be done !!!

Just remember to drink plenty of bee.. or er water to help keep you hydrated for when you start to sweat serious ***** when looking at an engine all torn apart, thinking to yourself (and not saying anything to those looking at you) wonder if it could be done, and will it work or even start? Of course if you have extra parts.. Remember, thats less weight on the MINI which equals more go fast speed....

I wish you the best of luck. All is safe with me not around tools. I hope you guys have a blast. You might just invent the next R&D abuzavi mod. Just post and share before selling the patent to alta... HAHAHA

And if daflake is out, let's go run the hills between Heidelberg and KTown -- it'll have you guys closer to home when we're all done. Poppa Bear Point, maybe?

If it is OK with you guys I'll be there w/my Honda.
91 Eunos will bring my MINI- currently reigstered, paid for, driven and, insured by him and even stored at his house too!
Need to change the brake fluid on the Honda, I may have boiled it on the 'Ring.
Need a building number for the shop and turn by turn directions from the Autobahn-is it the 6 or 61?

You guys have a great time. I will be back in May and plan on putting some miles on the MINI on some twisties! Is it wrong to miss my MINI as much as the family?

Choose your jack man very carefully!

We'll all drive over to the garage from the meet point. The roads have changed some, getting there, and most of the GPS systems aren't very good it. Short hop, skip and a jump from the meeting point (just outside of the gate by the commissary at PHV) to Tompkins.....

Brother man, it is good to hear from you!!

Whenever you get back and are ready to run, yell, and I'll come on down. As long as you miss your family first, its OK to miss your Mini as much!! Any suggestions who should NOT be the jackman?!!?

Stay safe and we'll look for your first, er, make that second Mini run!

Cheers!!

Abu, can you give a guestimate for bay costs? And how many of us will be there, anyways? This could get out of control, ya know, this many Minis. I've been stopped by die Polizei just because they thought I was part of the London Gum Ball Rally. What's our excuse gonna this time?

Cheers!!

We ended up with two bays last time, and I think it was something like $20 for the day for each. It wasn't outrageous.

I know of me, you, Henry, 91 and MX5 -- not a huge group, and only 4 Minis. One pulley for you, nothing for Henry that I know of, nickel and dime stuff for me if time permits (OCC, auto-up switch), and brakes or fluids or something for 91.

THX Poppa Bear! I will definitely call you up when I get back. My new OZ wheels and brake kit are sitting in the garage waiting for when I get back. I was good last year for Christmas. We will have to get a run done in June when I am settled back in.

Have a great time this weekend. Hopefully the dreaded "s" word stays away!
