Pulley Party in Heidelberg
#252
Hey, Smiley and Henry, I blackened out the beltline today.
She looks much better now. Needs new rims, but that will have to wait until these tires crap out on me.

4th of July Run
Sorry I didn't get to make this post sooer, with Mothers Day yesterday I was working overtime around the house. She made me pay for the Mini order in March.
Anyway, looks like I might actually get my Mini by then. I have the route in my head, just have to pull the cords off my GPS from my Edelweiss trip last weekend... just will take me a bit longer.
It might even give me an excuse to hit the area up again before then!
Anyway, it's on my side of the border with Austria taking the Brenner Pass.
I'll keep everyone posted.
Abuzavi, looks nice! Here's a link to what Smiley was talking about. I bought the DS ones already for mine.

I ran into that site after looking for these: http://www.aestheticreations.net/gra...s-boothuge.jpg
I couldn't just have the front done. The old lady wouldn't let me order anything more until after the summer though...

Survey says....
OK, fellas. Ya'll've had your pulleys for some 10 weeks now and I'm curious to hear ya'll's thoughts on the whole deal as it appears there might be another party sometime. Smiley, I know your baby is enroute to the States, however, I was considering a 17%, so your response would be invaluable. Also, I was considering the Alta-nator pulley and would like ya'll's opinions, too, about this reducing excess engine wear. Daflake, how hard would that be to install along with the v2 pulley? Probably THE reason I was considering a 17 vs. 15 was the low end pull, especially in the first three gears. Remember, I've got these excellent roundabouts and just love to terrorize (greetings Meade!!) the Nederlanders in them. Are these realistic expectations? Finally, daflake, any possiblity to do a party then run around your place like the original event? Otherwise, I'll just have the 6 hour drive home to validate install!!
Cheers!!
Cheers!!

If we did another party in Heidelberg, we could get Abuzavi to "create" a run as he does so well.
Also, on Pentagon deleviery date... Hang in there, usually they give a date that is far in advance of what it will actually be. There is a possibility that you will get it sooner as they really have no way to track the progress at Pentagon.

Thanks for the positive advice Daflake. I've been trying (I love sarcasm) to stay out of the forums lately. I'm just sitting back and waiting for the next 40 some odd days...
I got my boot stripes in yesterday from Aesthic Creations. So, I put another order in for my door sills. I'll post pics as soon as the MCS gets in.
Someone finally answered my post about the Aviano Mini Club so hopefully it'll get started up again.
