Thanks! Yeah, if the light catches it right, there's a subtle red in the matte black stripes that can be seen, too...
You know, that's a really good point that I've never considered... two bikes AND the box at the same time. I bought the car off the lot and it didn't have the rails (obviously), and I've been envious of all of you with the factory rails ever since. I considered retrofitting the rails, and even thought about ordering a new built-to-order F54 JCW... just so I could get the rails!! Yeah... kinda nuts, hence still having the Thule setup. But your point is the first time I've thought of it that way and realized, "huh...yeah... there actually is another positive to this method." So thanks for that perspective! Though what's also helping is that about 6 months ago I added a little lift system in the garage... good for storage and I can take the rack system off or on in about 10-20 min... I *do* like the clean and minimal roofline without the rack installed. Will have to post pics like that some time soon...

My new 2022 JCW Clubman in Rebel Green. Glad I was able to get one built before they cut out the H/K option.
Very happy with it so far and it’s my first MINI. Did a ton of research over the past 3 years looking for my next car, and once I test drove the JCW I was hooked. 1k miles in and still laugh most times I drive it around.

[ If you're interested in occasionally hanging out or driving with other local MINI owners and fans, you might check out DC Metro MINIs ... Many of the activities are in northern VA, but they are trying to have more in MD, too. ]

Here's mine on BC Racing coilovers, Megan upper and lower rear control arms, Racing Dynamics FMIC and IC piping, JB4, Burger intake, black door handles, tint, functional hood scoop. Probably going to do some sort of turbo inlet once I can verify it'll fit the 300hp motor. Just want more turbo noise.
