Intermittent pop from audio system

Intermittent pop from audio system
Hello all. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. Every so often, pretty regularly actually, I get a pop/tick from my speakers (I have the harmon/kardon system) that I can best describe as sounding very similar to a static discharge (i.e. you rub your feet on the carpet then touch something metal...). It reminds me of what an audio system in a car would do when you turned something on, hit the brakes, etc. if the system had grounding issues. I notice it primarily with satellite radio, but it occurs with other sources as well. Anyone else dealt with this?

Maybe. If you look down the page in this thread.

And there's another thread...

I know there's one more thread where the amp was replaced...

I've got a 2016 JCW with the HK radio. Listen exclusively to Sirius. I also get the intermittent pop from the speakers. Seems like it either comes from the tweeter in the pillar or from the speaker in the middle of the dash. Just wondering if you were able to get anything done. Not real concerned since it's under warranty.

No, still experiencing the issue. We took the car in a few weeks ago for the "second date" and while there we told them about this. They said that they weren't able to hear the pop and hadn't heard of any other cars with the problem. Hopefully if others are experiencing it there will be some sort of resolution.
