Center Console LED Ring Light

Center Console LED Ring Light
I THINK there is an issue with my ring light. It tends to do do whatever it feels like. Not a huge issue, just wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this.
Usually, the ring like constantly changes brightness. Not always, but often. It goes to max brightness for several seconds then slowly dims to barely visible. While it is doing this the brightness control has no effect.
A couple times it has done the "engine auto-off" scheme for the entire trip.
Twice it has gone off completely. It always straightens up (at least briefly) when the car has been turned off and back on. Which is probably why 3 reports of this to the dealer has not yielded any results. They tell me either they couldn't get it to do it, or I don't know how to operate it. The first time a mechanic came out and gave a lesson.

I had the center light error once , putting the car into reverse once starting right up. It stayed in the reverse light sequence. Never happened again. It looks like its a software flash if it jumps around for no reason.
I think it need reflashed.

huh, you might have to just talk to the service manager. Ask if there is a flash update. I have them do that in the past.
