Does anyone have any experience with swapping for newer headlights? I did this and got headlight malfunction warnings for both high and low beam. Used my old 2015 modules behind the 2018 lights. Took it to shop and scanned and cleared errors. Working for now...does anyone know if this will work 100%

 

Can't answer your question, but curious, why'd you swap 2015 for 2018 lights? They're the same Do you mean the LCI lights that debuted on the 2019 models?

 

Its the round inner projector light to the oval projector inner light design? LCI seen below. My guess is it will not work 100% as they changed the LED turn as the part of the main DRL which used to be an omega and now its a complete circle. I bet the pinout changed on the LCI

 

I can confirm that as long as you have LED headlights on the F56, you can install the LCI headlights it would just need coding.

 

Now to pony up the bucks for those headlights 😕

 

Do you happen to know what coding would need to be changed??
