Did anyone experience a long time in the status " production complete waiting to be delivered to carrier" I have been in it for 14 days now.

 

I was in that phase for 7 days and eventually just went to the WW tracking page and started putting my VIN in cargo id until this past weekend it show'd up as "loaded on vessel".

 

You have that address? I seem to keep overlooking it...sorry I know lazy way out if it.

Here's where I've gotten all my info including the latest on how to track the actual ship. I figured my car was on WW since that seems to be the most common route to my port (NYC). Then on the WW website I checked their schedule and I figured it would be the Don Juan or the next one. Since my status wasn't changing on the mini owners lounge I just started putting my VIN on the cargo id section and all of a sudden Sat. morning it confirmed it was loaded on the Don Juan.

Thanks,,,,I tried but no records found on WW. I guess Kline is impossible so I keep trying WW. Better than calling Mini or doing nothing.

 

Since most everyone here is as obsessed as I am I'll admit to this: Sat. morning I started to put the VIN on the tracking page every 15-20 min. because I knew from the schedule that the "Don Juan" was there and it was the next ship out. After 4 tries it showed that it had been booked and then finally that it was loaded. If it hadn't been on the Don Juan the next ship out of Southampton is on May 5th or 6th, I would have started the process again that day! So I guess I would try to figure what route goes to your port and then from the schedule see when and who leaves from there. Way too much info. for me to know!

 

what does mini say when you call? The person not the automated....the automated on mine says "it's at the port waiting on a vessel, when I know its actually at the processing center in baltimore MD.....

 

That site is useless. They are a phone service contracted to answer the phone and make computer inquires of a data base Mini gives acess to and it's obviously not updated very often. i decided I'll get my car when the dealer has it.

 

Arrived in Baltimore very early this morning, unloaded, dealer arranging to get customer orders on the first truck bringing their cars. It's a several hour drive, so end of this week easily.

 

I'm calling my MA in the morning to see if I can find out how long it will take to get from Baltimore to Ohio. Hopefully not long!

 

I just heard from my dealer. Wednesday night I will be picking mine up! I am freaking out and my family and coworkers think I am slightly insane. :-)

I ordered an MCS solid color on 4/12
My MA told me my Mini was built as of 4/26 , waiting to ship.
The ( 1 866 ask mini ) lady told me today that it would be finished May 9th.

call back to see if you get a different status....From what I understand the dealer has the best status....but I don't konw that for sure

 

mine arrived in baltimore last wednesday, at teh VDC friday....scheduled to be at teh dealer in louisville ky this wednesday....fingers crossed for no hickups and it actaully shows up on time.

 

What does Order Tracker say in the Owner's Lounge? It's usually behind what is actually going on from what I understand, but it'd be interesting to see which step its on. But yeah, calling back probably makes the most sense.

Also, ugh. I ordered on 4/12 as well, and mine hasn't even begun production yet... of course I have a contrasting roof.

 

 

Picking up my TG/B no-stripes MCS tomorrow.

well today is the scheduled delivery date to the dealer for mine. however no one can tell me if it is on a truck or is still at baltimore. All I can get is "it was released to the shipper on the 28th" called the shipper (precision motor transport group) but I can only leave a message and they never call back.

Hopefully I'll get a call later today telling me its at the dealer.

This portion might be more nerve wracking than any other time in this process....it's so close yet so far away. (and I'm going back to work out of town on Monday)

 

How do you view the sub status codes. I have been on order for the about a month now and when i called my sales rep she said it was in the final sub status. is that dealer only info or is it available somewhere

 

not sure what a sub status means....they used to publish status codes, that might be what she is talking about, the dealer is the only one that still sees those.

 

Stopped by my dealer today to see if it was possible to add the storage package to my car. Luckily I was able to with no problem, but it turns out my car had been ordered incorrectly. Since my order was only week old we were able to correct everything to my original specs. I also found out that even though I opted for the body matched roof (in order to avoid production delays) the dealer was able to place my order for a white roof and avoid any delay. Apparently my order was placed before the "cutoff" and couldn't be changed now even if I wanted. Really glad now I decided to visit the dealer instead of call.
