Got the call tonight that my mini is at the dealer, got rental car setup I'll be heading to the dealer in the morning (3hours away).

Now I'll find out if it meets my hyped expectations.

Funny thing is, as I've read on here somewhere, my MA keeps sending me credit applications, I've told him twice I've made my own arrangements....now I'm just going to ignore his emails and deal with it tomorrow morning.

I'm guessing just like the other dealer addons mini financing is a perk they want to sell.

 

I arranged my own financing, but the dealer claimed he could have done as well or better with banks/credit unions that he was familiar with, Working with my paperwork was much more time-consuming, but he didn't complain.

 

My car has been at the distribution center since April 11th and seems like since then every week the delivery date gets pushed back, now they're saying May 7th, is that normal for it to be at the distribution center for that long?

 

Mine 2!! It was suppose to be here 4/28 now i have 5/14!! WTF IS GOING ON?

 

Picked up car this afternoon, most enjoyable ride home from work in years. Will post pictures in appropriate thread within the next few days. Roughly 5 weeks from order to delivery.

 

Wow...I'm looking at at least double that, it appears.

 

Ive been waiting to be released to carrier in Oxford since April 15th. I'm close to canceling. It's a joke. They have no ability to see what goes on at the factory.

It's pretty obvious that MINI are prioritising US orders….

Some of the time scales in this thread are ridiculous, considering they include shipping via BOAT!!!

I ordered on the 13th March and my car hasn't even gone into production yet!!!!

(I'm in the UK for reference - and they build the bloody things here!)

 

ordered mine around feb 6 still waiting for the truck to deliver it to the dealer....

I got body colored roof, that's why I'm prioritized But I did somehow manage to sneak in the HK system. Not sure how my MA pulled that one off

 

Just got "THE" phone call. The car made to to the dealer this AM. I've scheduled my pick up for this Saturday. Since this vehicle is White Silver with the black roof and mirrors and the HK sound system, I'm anxious to see that everything ordered is there.

I got an email from my MA letting me know my Mini should be ready for pick up on Saturday!!!

Just spoke to MINI & they have told me the car is due for build in week 20 (which they say starts next week??) - can anyone confirm the current MINI week number to verify?

If this is true - I could have the car the week commencing the 19/05/14 - totally buzzing with the news as this wait has gone on long enough now!!

Sounds right, in a different thread someone said they were entering production week 21, which started 19/05/14, if that was correct then week 20 is indeed next week! Congrats!

Per my MA it went into status 150 on 5/7.

 

Looks like we'll have lots of new MINIs this weekend!

Called the dealer.Being released today or Monday.
Should be here mid next week.
Regarding finance rates,they're now "standard",according to them 3.79%(up from 3.19).
I got 1.9% through credit union.
They won't match.

 

Just got the email today from my MA. Production has begun on my MINI! Placed the order for White over BRG on 4/23 and was expecting a looong wait, but it looks like I was being too pessimistic.


Can't wait to see everyone's new cars soon!

 

My status finally changed!!!

Ordered: 4/12 from Wisconsin
"In production": 4/14
"In the body shop": 5/9
Hotline still says completion on 5/13

I have been trying to gauge how long it will take to get here post production but haven't really seen any good numbers on here. Was hoping for about 4 weeks from completion. Does that seem far off?

 

I don't know your location, but if it's in the US it's hard to tell since it could sit at the port waiting for the next ship to leave. They put a boatload of MINIs on each ship and if your's is one of the first in line it could wait a long time.
