F55/F56 Anyone found the online Manual yet
#52
After all the BS about not being available - here it is! While I do appreciate it, it does leave me scratching my head. I'm off to do some reading.

If anyone cannot find it like me, its not here:
http://www.miniusa.com/content/miniu...r-manuals.html
But instead in the Owner's Lounge login, and then under Your Mini, which'll list all the manuals including the 2014 Hardtop. I was about to post why can't I see it! Maybe they'll update the other list soon.

I don't know about everyone else but I find this manual poorly written and bad graphics. They make the everything seem soooo complicated when it really is not.
IMO when writing a manual like this start with the basics then move into the more complicated and less necessary stuff. Who cares about the ****'n phone...How do I unlock the doors and start the car, check tire pressures, open the sunroof, run-in period. You know the important stuff. .....Then deal with the radio and the computer.

230 pages is a piece of cake. My Lexus manual is over 600 pages and that is only one of three manuals that come with the car.

It mentions a first aid kit, warning triangle, and the onboard vehicle tool kit, and the latter appears to not have a jack for cars with runflats. I remember the hoopla when the R56 w/runflats didn't come with a jack. It should have the tow hook, and that's about all I expect to find there.

We bought a Pepper White S F56 on Saturday. We did get a paper manual, but only for the "mechanical" issues. MINI used to include a separate book for the Navigation/Radio/Infotainment system, but there wasn't one in the folder (which is also a fabric pouch now). We asked at the dealer earlier today about the availability of the manual for the Nav/Radio and was told there wasn't one available yet and to try the version through the screen. Unfortunately, I tried that yesterday and it is less than informative. Has anyone been able to locate the Nav/Radio manual? If so, please share the link where you found it. Thanks!
