Fantastic photos! I'd give anything to understand how to light a car that well.

Yosemite

The Wife took a pretty good pic last weekend at Yosemite. I think she took one other at Tunnel View I will see if I can find.

I KNOW!! they mounted it right after they detailed before delivery. Now I need to find something to fill the holes with when I go to the side mounted front plate. In CO we have to have a plate on the front or we get a nice little fine around $80. Any suggestions to fill the holes and make it look clean?

Your local old-time hardware store will have little black plastic push-in hole plugs in various sizes (maybe a dime each). They have a matte finish rather than gloss, but they'd be much better than gaping holes.

This is the first car I've owned where the factory front plate has to be drilled into bumper. Such a shame.

Great lighting indeed. I like the framing of the wisps of foliage in the foreground bokeh. I'm guessing you shoot in RAW and then correct the dynamic range in post?

Opinions on stripes vs no stripes? I have them and like them but from some angles they look a bit awkward on the F5x.... Considering having them removed.

Eye of the beholder on that one. Some love, some hate, some could care less.

Sweet theme car!

How'd you get the JCW side markers? I've been trying to order those for months!
