Was at a friend's garage this weekend and it seemed like a good shot for the MINI:

So cliffnotes version
Sep R56 justa in metallic spice orange decides to go for early retirement @ 98K
Sep through Oct test drive everything possible.
Now in late October my wife (who shold get saint status for putting up with my car shopping habits ie can't make up my mind syndrome says I should give Mini a 2nd chance as until the failure has been the only car I have loved.... So add anther week of car buying joy picking out the new one I ended up with this.
2015 S
Auto (No paddles) former stick driver but figure it do two things
1. let the wife in on the comical fun that driving a mini is
2. make it easier to lone out the car to other family members when I need more room. F150 SUV etc.
Premium Package
Cold weather package
LED Lights up front
Hood Stripes
Comfort Access (why is this not one of the standard features on a premium car?)
Pickup is set for Friday
Hoping my concerns over the R56 and Stick fade fast.... also wishing payment book would fade fast as well

I love the Volcanic Orange, but this is just the loaner from MINI North Scottsdale. I suspect they have these loaners to sucker people into trading in for a new car.

Ok, why is the URL not allowing me to paste a link to Ipernity?

It is so much better at handling, acceleration, and road feel. The CM was a little noisy, heavy, sluggish (needed a much better engine) and interior was not as nice either. The F56s handles so well and flat out GOES!
There are a lot of subtle upgrades to the interior and more features than the CM I had. I enjoyed that car don't get me wrong, but I just knew that it wasn't making me 100% happy and I did not want to keep it; I am glad I was able to make the trade last night.
Spent 5 hours at the dealership; they were pretty slammed. It was worth waiting, definitely!

For some reason it was covered in micro scratches when I got it, the same as my new f55 from the same dealer. Really, the polish and glaze helped more than anything.
