I had an 08 Accord V6 before my MINI, and the MINI is miles ahead of my accord in driving dynamics. Granted my accord was a sedan and automatic, so it's not an apples to apples comparison.

Note that he has never ridden in a MINI before.
Thank you!
Your friend is a jerk. What kind of "friend" has to insult someone's car to build himself up? Who cares what anyone else thinks? You might want to find better friends.

CX is drag coefficient. A is area, in meters squared and square feet.
Air resistance should be one multiplied by the other?

CX // A - 0.28 // 2.07 22.28
Air resistance - 0.58/6.24

In 2007 the Accord's CX was 0.29.

And it still is for the 4-door according to this article.

I think they're pretty close.

Drive what you like so you can like what you drive. Which one is more fun to drive? That's way to subjective of a question.

This new poster has...er...3 posts....all cross posts?!
Hate to call someone a troll....but if it walks like a duck....
P.S.
IMO a cammery/accord looks like it was extruded from the rear end of a monster from Tokyo that ate a good looking car...it has zero edges...just a lump.
If you want to blend in like a good worker (aka, slave to the "man"), you get a Honda/Toyota....
If you want to say "look at me, I'm different" you get a MINI, OR you don't care what others think like in grade school, and just get what you like....it is YOUR $$ right,?! Who cares what your butt headed EX-friend thinks!!
You spend YOUR $$ ON what you like....
He buys what he likes....if he berates you...he is not a friend, just a lowlife trying to improve his srlfesteme by getting folks to follow him....otherwise called a douchbag....

It appears your friend is wrong, the MINI is comparable, it may even have a smaller drag coefficient.

Aerodynamics aren't as straight forward as one would suspect.

I used to drive a mid-80s Volvo 240 sedan. Talk about a box car. I'm pretty sure their motto was "boxy but safe."

Compared to that, the Mini's not boxy.

"Boxy, but good," although that was from the movie "Crazy People," which was pretty great. They also had one that was about Sony TVs being the best because the short Japanese workers are closer to the product. And one where you get a free plant when calling for some diet thing, because fat people like plants.
