deals on 2014 leftovers?
I drove the new MCS when it first came out and really fell in love with it. I didn't want to go for the first model year, but now I'm seeing some still sitting on lots and I'm tempted to take the plunge. If the price is right, I may just go for it. Have any of you guys gotten remarkable deals on 2014s?

But me, I'm extremely happy with my truly remarkable deal I got on my 2015 due to a unique set of events. The delay and communications was a frustrating hot mess, but my wallet is extremely happy with how the numbers played out.
Having said all that, and having the car for a week today, the F56 is a well built car that is fun to drive and is thrifty on the fuel when you're not in the need to be driving like you stole it (i.e. the daily hum drum of driving to/from work) -- for me, it totally justifies the premium price point of the MSRP.

Unsure of what you would consider remarkable, but my dealer shows $1000 off on remaining 2014 F56 cars on their website. Then you can do the mature drivers course on DriversEd.com for the $500 discount. If you have a prior Mini, add in the $250 loyalty discount if you finance with Mini Financial. Then consider the lower base price of the 2014, and you're approaching some good discount numbers.

They may be able to deal even more on them too, I was able to get about 1000 off msrp on my 14 when i bought it in september. And that was before they started offering the 1000 off discount. However I still got kinda screwed as there was a "first place finish" kit installed on the car that ended up really only making it about 700 off msrp. Either way not a bad deal.
At that time though they had literally dozens of unsold f56's on the lot, I think they were a bit worried, But with the hold up of the 15s, they sold EVERY SINGLE one of them, I stopped by about 3 weeks ago before the 15s came in and they only had one f56 and it was the fully loaded showroom model with a 40k pricetag.
