F55/F56 Poll: Color and gender???

Poll: Color and gender???
So I went back to the dealer today when they were open so that I could test drive an MCS. First of all, I absolutely loved it. I've driven the previous models numerous times, but this was the first time to drive an F56. Cant wait to order mine.
I was talking to the saleswoman and she asked me what colors I was interested in, and I told her the list, but there was a color on my list that seemed feminine to her. Now, Im a guy, Im straight and I like colors, but I also like an aggressive look too. She said that in her opinion, Electric Blue was a more feminine color. The more I thought about it, the more I kind of agree, but I still like the color.
So that brings me to this question... What is everyones gender and what color F56 do you have/or are you getting?

Electric blue feminine?? Pffft....
Put some black wheels and stripes and it looks pretty masculine to me.
I was considering EB for while (as well as pretty much all the other cool colors available), but ultimately decided on Pepper White/black roof/black sport stripes - I am 30 BTW

I assume you're both male?
I definitely think the black wheels, roof and mirrors makes a difference.

In 2007, an EB/White 2005 MCS was the very first MINI I looked at in Boston....at the time you could only get Electric Blue on the S model. Dealer wouldn't budge and I could tell it had been run hard put away wet most of it's life....
Sounds like that saleswoman probably talks herself out of as many sales as she makes....

I'm a male and probably would have gotten Electric Blue if it was out when I ordered mine (was only 4 weeks early!) When I picked mine up there was an Electric Blue with Black Roof/ Stripes/ Rims and the JCW Exterior pack on it and I was literally salivating over it while my paper work was being done, I would've gotten it if it had Cloth (Leatherette gets way to hot and sticky in FL) and if it was Manual (no matter how fast an Auto is, it's not for me) but didn't want to wait to order again. But if you like EB then don't let an ignorant saleswoman steer you away from it, it's YOUR car and YOU should get what you want, truthfully with the exception of Volcanic Orange (Cheddar Yellow?) and Blazing Red (Spice Orange?), Electric Blue is the only stand-out colour for the F56, all the others scream "look away!" And a re a bit too generic, I mean how many shades of Grey/Silver can you have, ¼ of the colours the F56 offers are Grey or Silver, and then 2 more are Shades, not even colours (granted blacked out they look good!), Choose what you like and stick with it.

Oh, trust me, I wouldn't let anyone sway my decision based on what THEY thought. Her comment just made me curious as to what everyone's gender was and what color they chose.
I have never been a red car person, except for Imola Red from the E46 M3, but Blazing Red has definitely caught my attention too. It looks soooooo good with black wheels and roof/mirrors. The dealer near me also has a BR with matching roof/mirrors and surprisingly it looks good too.

There's a picture of my baby in the background (unfortunately only picture I have of her) and boy does Blazing Red look really good, at first I was upset that Chili Red wasn't available when I ordered her (I've had two Chili Red Clubmen, currently own one and am quite biased) but then I saw BR on the lot and fell in love with it, especially since it looks really Orangey at night, hence Blazing, Fiery Orange-Red, and I would suggest it to anyone, especially since Red is such a timeless MINI colour; however, it has proven a pain to keep nice and clean since it is metallic, but I guess would go the same with Electric Blue!

Male, Volcanic Orange with white roof and black wheels. I wanted the red with white roof and black wheels (even though I considered red a more feminine color), but I thought $500 was asking too much just for a different color. VO was actually my second choice, but I really like it. If I had $500 to spend on paint color, I would have gotten the infotainment upgrade instead. haha. I'm really happy with the only add-on I got besides automatic trans, Sports Package.

I am male and Deep Blue with black roof. I am 46.
First MINI was a Clubman: Lightning Blue with silver roof/trim.
My boss is a male with an Electric blue 2005 hardtop with a white roof. 55 years old.
My neighbor is a male with bright yellow (not sure year) with a white roof. Est 45 years old.
I have had a couple people tease me about a girly car until I took them for a ride. Now they just say its my midlife crisis car.
I'd say if you like Electric, go for it!

Male, 39.
1st MINI: 2009 Cooper S Hardtop Chili Red with White roof/mirror
2nd MINI: 2011 Cooper S Countryman True Blue with Black roof/mirror
3rd MINI: 2015 Cooper S 2dr Hardtop Chili Red with White roof/mirror
Once a Chili Red, always a Chili Red (although going back and forth between Chili red/white top and Volcanic orange/black top before ordering).

30, male, and I went with BRG II, black roof/wheels/mirrors/bonnet stripes. VO was my second choice, and if EB had been available when I ordered mine, I would have seriously considered it.
IMO, there are no 'feminine' or 'masculine' colors. I know some of the manliest dudes who will rock pink or purple and completely own it. It's just how comfortable you are with it.

If your current Mini is a 2015, wouldnt that make it Blazing Red and not Chili Red?

Oh no, Im an Alfa male, and I can own colors. I wear purple and pink shirts and couldnt give two ***** what anyone thinks. Again, Im not saying I still may not choose Eletric Blue, its just that her comment got me thinking, thus my curious thread.
