I'm interested in the Weathertech DigitalFit Floorliners. Their website only says 2-door hardtop, and customer service wasn't very helpful. The MINI site has the same part # for their front (not rear) all weather style mats for both F55 and F56. Would like to order the WT liners for the F55 front, but need to be certain they fit first.

 

I have an F55 with both the F56 all weather front mats and the factory F55 mat set. The F56 all weather front mats are something like half an inch narrower than the F55 front mats. Black mats on the black carpet means they don't jump out at you as too narrow, but I sure wouldn't call them an exact fit.

I'm about to order a set of Cocomats and I'm hoping they don't make their F55 fronts the same as the F56 fronts.

Update: I spoke with Drew at Cocomats - he confirmed F55 front mats are wider than F56 front mats and they also have developed patterns for trunk mats, both with or without the storage option. Drew really knows his product and applications. Three to four weeks and my set will be ready.

This was my response from Weathertech 2 months ago:



"Thank you for your interest in MacNeil Automotive Products. We apologize for the delay in our response.

Regarding your 2015 HardTop Floormats or Liners, if there was a difference between the 2 door vs. the 4 door, there would be a question on the website asking to choose with which the vehicle is equipped. The floor coverage currently listed on our website would accommodate both 2 and 4 door models.

Regarding the cargo liner for the flat load floor, we currently do not have one available. Please check the website every so often as it us updated daily."



Back then their website only said "hardtop", now at least it says "2 door", so hopefully soon it will say "4 door" too. I'm not convinced that the front mats for the F56 would fit the F55 either (per dcummer post #2 above).

 

So I've been checking the Weathertech site often. They now offer floor liners for either 2 or 4 door hardtop, but the 4 pc set says "not available" on pricing, whereas it looks like the rear 2 pc set can be ordered.

 

On their site the grey color is available $169.90

Sadly, grey doesn't cut it for me.

 

Miniblue2...Gray doesn't cut it for me either (although my F55 is white silver w/all black interior so maybe it wouldn't look bad?). Looks like that F55 gray set has the same part# as the F56. I'm thinking the sets for F55 begin with #467, as does the F55 rear set in black. If it wasn't for the fact that I've had WT liners for another vehicle (and loved it), and I don't like the mini oem buckle logo style, I don't have too much confidence in WT customer service responses, or their website errors. I've seen other nice all weather mats online (Husky, and ?), but they don't fit mini.

 

I ordered mine with the factory mats and then ordered the all weather mats. I believe in the fit difference because they are not wide enough in the F55. Probably F56 mats I did not check part numbers to see in there is a difference.

I think I will compare the width of the rubber with the originals. Also, I will try to call weathertech Monday and talk to them about widths and part numbers.

I will post findings.

I spoke to Weathertech and they confirm, even though part numbers appear to be the same, the F56 mat set does NOT fit the F55.

Further, F55 mats are in final stage of production and should be available in a week or two. She said black would be available as well.

By any chance, did they mention anything about the F55 boot mat with or without a flat load floor?

 

I received an e-mail today from Weathertech - rear seat floor mats for the F55's are in stock.

 

I called a few minutes ago and was told the Hardtop 4 door automatic front mats should be available very soon. Today was their due date. I will keep checking and post when I see them available.

 

They are in production, not available at this exact moment, just the rears for now in black.

When they come available they will be posted up. We do have free ship also on those.

ECS, do you know what company in the Czech Republic would have made the bottle cap mats in the R50?

 

We might have those in the future. AKA Canada mats.

 

I just looked on their site and the digital fit mats are in stock. Fit both auto and manual. Only color is black.

 

Yes, we have them linked above, 447911 fronts in black and fit manual and automatics F55. More colors might be down the road.

 

Very happy that they're finally available for the F55. Anyone know if the cargo liner for the 2 door also fits the 4 door, or when it will be available?

 

Worth a shot, they dont have it added to the 4 door yet. But the F55 looks close to the F56 trunk .

All set. WT confirmed the recessed cargo liner for the F55 is currently in production...should be available in 6-8 weeks. The F56 is 34x15. The F55 is 33-1/2x18.

 

My new F55 Weathertech Floorliners are awesome!!! Perfect fit. You unscrew (1/4 turn) the oem Velcro buttons with a dime, and 1/4 turn the provided Weathertech hooks. These are black, although the photo flash makes them look gray. Don't hesitate at all ordering these. Can't wait for the cargo liner to be available.

Doesn't your feet slide around on them? I've had weathertech before and couldn't stand how slick they felt.
