Spare wheel is here : 36116851506 take a 115/70/15 tire size. And you can get your own brand tire.

If you have JCW brakes / Cooper S brakes or any other brake clearance issues this wheel can be switched out on the rear and the good wheel can be placed on front.

Man I sure love you vendors jumping all over each other.

For you folks adding a spare to your MCS make sure to secure that spare. In an accident it is quite likely to hurt you when it flies forward.

Can I take it this means that there's no place to secure it out of sight in the boot? It was nice, in my MCCS, to have the option of getting new foam and sticking it in the spare tire well :-P

Yuck. I'm in the market for a MINI again, and loved the ability to ditch the runflats and have a spare on my last one. Sounds, sadly, like runflats are probably in my future.

I'm 2 weeks into my f55 ownership and am wondering if my car came with a spare. It's a Justa with 17" Cosmos Spokes (all-weather run flats), not the base 15s.
I'd like to get conventional wheels once these wear out, but I like having the piece of mind of a spare.

Dig into/under the back. Under the storage compartment is another layer where the spare should be if you have one.

Check for this code 300 in the VIN decoder, Emergency Spare Wheel.

Hate to knock a good product (Detroit Tuned bag), but there is another option out there if you feel the need to bag your spare. Of all places, it is the Dimpa bag from IKEA that is a whopping $3.99.

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10056770/

Likely not as durable as the DT bag, but just another option.

Another option is to reach out to allmag auto - I purchased a full-sized corner (wheel, tire, center cap, and TPMS sensor) for less than a donut spare, and that's been my spare for road trips.

r56 base spare

My 2010 Camden edition (56base) has an 'under the trunk' spare tire AND 17" rims.

Why can't I buy an original full sized 17" wheel and replace the donut?

Further evidence there are advantages to owning a non-turbo Mini??

OP's 'anyone selling spare donut wheel tire for R56?'
answer: Maybe, I hope so.... Julajan, Tampa

Hey, I followed the link for the tire and indicated my F55 MCS. The only thing is I don't have any space in the trunk. My car came with air compressor and fix-a-flat tire aerosol can.

Thanks! I wonder when users pre-order their MINI cars with spare tire, where does the MINI put it? In the trunk or place it under the car?

Oh, so I would need to carry it in the trunk?! The space is limited as is + the spare, that you virtually make no room for stuff. :( I guess this is the price we pay for not liking RF tires! I can't stand these tires except Pirelli Cinturato P7 Grand Touring version but only when they are new or within 5K miles on them.

Thanks for clarification!
