For those that are interested, My car was "born" on 4/29. Now we are just waiting for a boat to get it across the pond. Looks like the next possible transport is on the K-line Michigan Highway on May 9th with the WW ship Honor scheduled to pick up in South Hampton on the 12th. Hopefully my baby can get on one of those ships and head to Galveston. With any luck I should be motoring by June 3-4, but that may be pushed back due to the Memorial Day holiday. Does anyone know how long it is taking to get through the Galveston VDC?

My main source of information has been my dealer and the 1-866-ask-MINI hotline. My experience with the ask MINI line has been hit or miss. Sometimes it is very helpful, other times it is less than optimal, depends on who answers the line.
