This is not my F56 JCW 2016, but it is a photo of the dash cluster.

I too, am missing (look on photo) that option.

Anybody know what it is?

 

I believe that's for the heated front windshield option that not available in North America.

Correction: The option is available in Canada- "Electric Front Window Defroster" for $190.

Cool, when I get my front window replaced under the Mini Cooper Insurance plan, I will ask the dealer to order the front window with the defroster (and I will pay the difference) and get the switch for it...

PS I had ordered it and somehow it was "there not there" in the order process and when the car arrived it was not there (no biggie... besides my ride will never see winters). Just nice to have.
