Key Fob situation

My recently purchased F55 came with 3 fobs, which is great! All 3 of them are programmed for my vehicle, and all 3 of them work...with an exception. Only one of the fobs actually has a profile for settings (temperature, radio presets, tone, etc). Whenever I use that one to unlock the car, I find all of my settings to be intact. Whenever I use either of the other two, and change settings (my wife doesn't like my maximum bass setting, for example), it is not stored. Is there something I need to do to get those to also store profiles? I do not have the version with the larger navigation screen, and I can't get to a "profiles" setting with the turn signal arm.

I think the profiles are an automatic thing. Make sure to not have more than one key in the car when you take it out. When you change any settings in the car that belong to profiles, it supposed to just save them. See owners manual for brief description of concept.

At least that is the way the 3 MINIs we had worked.

Yeah, I've tried those things, and read the manual. That's why I'm not sure why it's not working. Just thought maybe somebody had some additional insight.
